This tour will take you to Murchison Falls National Park where the waters of the Nile River squeeze through a narrow gorge. This park is home to a number of mammals and has Uganda’s largest population of Nile crocodiles. Make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a private, non-profit, animal sanctuary in Uganda. Day 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park Tour

You will be picked up early in the morning and taken to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you will travel through Nakasongola for an ultimate rhino encounter! Be prepared to meet fifteen southern white rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a private, non-profit, animal sanctuary in Uganda. The sanctuary also offers interesting activities including rhino trekking, bird watching, nature walks and relaxation. Upon arrive at Murchison Falls National Park, home to a number of mammals and Uganda’s largest population of Nile crocodiles, you will take part in an evening game drive and then return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2: Wildlife & Boat Safari

After breakfast you will set out for an early morning game drive in search of elusive predators such as lion, hyena, leopard, and jackal among several others; all the while enjoying the beautiful savannah landscape. In the afternoon, we set out on a boat safari along the world famous River Nile, which sets off at Paara, going upstream to the base of the Murchison Falls. While on the cruise, you will see crocodile, hippo, and lizards. You will also have the chance to come upon buffalo, elephant and antelopes quenching their thirst and cooling off from the heat, by the river banks.

Day 3: Top of the fall – Kampala

After breakfast you will hike to the top of the Murchison Falls. This hike will last approximately an hour and is strenuous, but will be well worth the effort as you feast your eyes on the amazing views of the falls from different spots along the trail. In the afternoon you will head back to checkout and depart for Kampala. Arriving in Kampala, this is where your safari will end.
