5 - Day Uganda Gorilla Tracking & Queen Elizabeth National Park

This starts from Kigali in Rwanda and will end in Kigali or Kanombe international airport in Rwanda where our guide will meet you up and travel to Bwindi impenetrable National park through Katuna Boarder, After gorilla tracking, we travel to Queen Elizabeth National park in south western Uganda, do game drives within the park, have chimpanzee tracking around Karunsu forest and then travel back to Kigali.

Day 1: Welcome to Rwanda and Travel to Bwindi impenetrable National park in Uganda

On this day, we will either meet you from Kanombe international airport in Rwanda or your accommodation in Kigali city and travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National park through Katuna Boarder and Kabale town in south western Uganda which is the oldest town among the town in Kigezi region, we shall proceed to Bwindi impenetrable National park and finally to our accommodation and check in.We shall relax and get our fire where we shall have entertainment from the local people most especially the children, the lodge being in the local community and being an Eco lodge in the region.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking & travel to Lake bunyonyi

Today, we wake you up and take a hearty breakfast, then get packed lunch, travel for the next 10 minutes to get orientation from the Uganda Wildlife Authority, Orientation is a requirement for one before gorilla tracking and then be give rangers and travel to the forest in search of gorillas, Note that, half of the gorilla population on this planet live in Bwindi Impenetrable National park.You will be awarded a certificate from the Uganda Wildlife Authority after gorilla tracking and as a means to congratulate you completing this fascinating activity and then travel to Lake bunyonyi for an overnight, Note that lake bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa after lake Tanganyika.

Day 3: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National park

On this day, we wake you up and take a hearty breakfast, you shall checkout and leave the peaceful island of lake bunyonyi, get into the motorboat and get into the lake shores where you shall get into your 4×4 and travel to Queen Elizabeth National park through Kabale town and Ntugamo.You shall have your first lunch into Queen Elizabeth National park and have your first game drive that will lead into your accommodation for an overnight.

Day 4: Morning game drive and Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

We will wake you up and travel for the game drive for Wildlife & Animals – Queen Elizabeth NP. Elephant and buffalo are very common, and lion are surprisingly easy to spot. Hyena can occasionally be spotted, while giraffe and zebra are absent. There are many interesting antelope species such as Uganda kob, topi and bushbuck and then travel back for breakfast and Lunch.After lunch, we shall have a boat cruise on Kazinga channel, The Kazinga Channel alone is said to contain the world’s largest concentration of hippos. Other wildlife includes lion, warthogs, buffalo, rare aquatic sitatunga antelope, giant forest hog, Uganda kob, topi, waterbuck, elephant and leopard. The national park plays host to many unique attractions and adventures.We shall then check in for overnight.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu and travel back to Kigali.

This would be the last day of the safari, we wake you up and take a hearty breakfast, then travel to Kalinzu forest for chimpanzee tracking, It will be afater chimpanzee tracking that we travel back to Rwanda-Kigali and end of the safari.
